The Trailblazer

Alice S. Rossi died at the age of 87 on Tuesday. The OG feminist scholar, sociologist and founder of NOW- thats huge!

She also is the author an influential article that I once stumbled across "Equality Between the Sexes: An Immodest Proposal.” Which at the time made me afraid to become a mother fearing that it would be all I would identify with.

May she rest in peace.

Thats all.

That's because unfortunatly, many women only identify as a mother after that. They lose all sense of who they are. I could name a few I know right now.
